Aveiro full-day Tour
'The Portuguese Venice'

About 60 kms south of Porto we will visit the beautiful city of Aveiro known as the 'Portuguese Venice' due to the canals that cross the entire city.

Here we will have the opportunity to take a boat trip on the traditional 'moliceiro' boat and, on a pleasant walk through the historic center to taste the traditional sweets made from the egg yolk ‘Soft Eggs'

 

In a strip of land between the Vouga River and the Atlantic Ocean, we will visit Costa Nova colored part of the Portuguese coast. This beach is characterized by wooden houses streaked with white and bright colors, formerly old haystacks that served as a warehouse and shelter for fishermen.

A visit to Vista Alegre Porcelain factory, founded in 1824 and internationally recognized for the quality of its production, where we will visit its chapel dating from the end of the 17th century, the museum and the manual painting workshop.

The city of Aveiro has always been linked to sea trade, fishing and salt production, so we must do a boat tour trough the salt water canals.
