Departing from the city of Porto where the river Douro flows, we can meet this landscape, the first demarcated region for wine production in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

It is here, where the world appreciated Port Wine is produced...

What we will do:

Our goal was to create an experience with a add-on value, so more than showing a video of a guide visit around Douro Valley, I prepared a tasting kit for you to have a real tasting experience with me.

 

I will be with you in real time, explaining and answering all you questions from our office in Porto.

Starting our experience, first of all, we will introducing ourselves and taking any doubts that may exist.

After a short explanation of Portugal history, Douro Valley and Port Wine, we will do a cocktail workshop: How to make a Tonic Port, using the white Port in the Tasting kit.

While you enjoy this refreshing drink, we will assiste a video of the Guide visit to a winery, for you to learn the history of this world-renowned Douro wine brand.

 

After the conclusion of the video, I will comment and answer all your question.

 

For last, the most important part, the tasting experience paring with the cheeses and jams in the tasting kit.

This is a online interactive experience, so please note:

  • requires a reservation notice at least 15 days before the desired date, period necessary for sending the tasting kit (photos in the gallery);

  • after booking, you must inform me the address to send you the tasting kit;

  • you must have internet access;

  • Download 'Zoom' for free on a computer or mobile device. Once you book, you will receive an email with a link and information on how to participate.

What we will need:
  • Tasting kit (one per person);
  • 1 lemon or lime;
  • 1 mint leaf;
  • A few rocks of ice;
  • Toasts or crackers;
  • 1 small bottle of tonic water;
  • 1 big glass, 3 liquor glasses.

Inclusions:
Tasting kit (to be sent to your address), that consist of:​

  • 4 different  Graham's Port Wines:

        - 1  White Port (that we will use to make the cocktail Tonic Port);

        - 1 Ruby Port

        - 1 Late Bottled Vintage 2014 Port;

        - 1 Tawny Port 10yo

  • 1 set basket with 3 cheeses for paring with the wines;

  • 2 jars with traditional jams.
